KING RICHARD: BE ALIVE

King Richard – Banner

It is always a joy to see black stories being told.

On November 19, King Richard will be premiering in cinemas; the biographical drama directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and starring Will Smith is inspired by the story of Richard Williams, father and coach of the extraordinary tennis players Vênus and Serena Williams as they are played by the actresses Saniyya Sydney and Demi Singleton.

The film comes to thrill, showing the power of family-togetherness, perseverance and the unshakable growth of a fearless father who charts the path of his daughters off the streets of Compton, California, to a future in which they become two sports legends.

If the plot wasn’t enough, the soundtrack has a track sung by Beyoncé. The song Be Alive, written in partnership with DIXSON is full of feeling and very motivational, the song is a strong candidate to receive the nomination for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
